Search by country and town. For each place, set the max moon brightness, cloud cover and wind (m/s), plus what hour you want the alert.

We watch the night

At your chosen hour we check the forecast for 21:00–02:00 local time: cloud, moonlight, wind and humidity.

You get the nudge

Only when the night meets your limits. No noise on mediocre nights.

What counts as a great night

Defaults below keep the bar high. Moon, cloud and wind can be changed for each location; humidity is fixed.

  • Cloud cover at or below 12% (adjustable)
  • Moon at most 30% lit (adjustable)
  • Wind at or below 7 m/s (adjustable)
  • Humidity at or below 80% (fixed)
  • Checked for 21:00–02:00 local time
